Hawes & Curtis was established in 1913 by Ralph Hawes and Freddie Curtis, with the intention of creating high quality, exclusive clothing for gentlemen. From our infancy, we have been acclaimed by royalty and aristocracy alike; most famously by the Duke of Windsor and Earl Mountbatten.
As a result of high praise from Royals, Hawes & Curtis embodied and exuded a distinctly British gentlemen’s style. Today at Hawes & Curtis we are still proud of our impeccable heritage. Whilst cherishing our exacting standards from the past and our classic English personality, Hawes & Curtis has evolved and developed over the years.
We still offer distinguished, luxurious style, however we now offer designs for women as well as gentlemen. At Hawes & Curtis the quality of our products are as high as they were nearly a century ago. The vast majority of our shirts are 2 ply 100's cotton made in our own factory. Today we strive to be fashion forward, frequently changing stock to keep ahead of the latest trends and designs.
We also offer a range of accessories to complete the perfect look for our clientele. Starting with one shop located in Jermyn Street, we now have 30 shops and are still expanding. From 1913 to the present day, we still offer the same quality and quintessentially British style that we always did.
Today the Hawes & Curtis style is no longer limited to royalty; it is accessible to those with an eye for fashion and extraordinary quality.
