Hawes & Curtis and The Royal Opera House launch exclusive competition
Hawes & Curtis has collaborated with The Royal Opera House to launch an exclusive competition. One lucky winner will receive four tickets for the Royal Opera House’s performance of La traviata, a pre-theatre dinner and a stay at a five star hotel in London. In order to be entered into the competition, customers are required to spend £100 or more at a Hawes & Curtis store or online.
La Traviata is Giuseppe Verdi’s tragic opera about a Parisian courtesan who sacrifices all for love. In one of the best loved of all operas, Verdi depicts a brave woman who struggles to find happiness, and leaves behind the scandalous existence that’s brought her wealth, but also condemnation. Richard Eyre’s production is vividly told, with three world-class casts led by Venera Gimadieva, Maria Agresta and Nicole Cabell.
Hawes & Curtis and the Royal Opera House have a universal connection as both brands have a distinguished British past with a royal heritage. Since 1913, Hawes & Curtis has served royalty – most notably the Duke of Windsor and Lord Mountbatten – and has been awarded four Royal Warrants. The Royal Opera House was established in 1732 and has entertained royalty ever since. The Prince of Wales is currently a patron of the Royal Opera House.
La traviata is on at the Royal Opera House until 19th March. For more information, visit www.roh.org.uk/traviata.
