The Chap Olympiad - London’s silliest and most stylish sporting event
If you are after some quintessentially British fun this weekend, head to Central London for The Chap Olympiad’s tenth anniversary. Organised by The Chap Magazine and Bourne & Hollingsworth (who specialises in period bars and events), The Chap Olympiad has become London’s most dapper and eccentric sporting event, attracting stylish gentlemen and ladies to this infamous ‘celebration of athletic inaptitude and immaculate trouser creases.’
Enjoy a delightful day of themed sporting events, such as umbrella jousting and passing the port, as well as live swing bands, country fair side-shows and plenty of dry martinis. Don’t bother turning up in sportswear as guests in lycra, jeans or trainers will not be admitted. The strict dress code recommends ‘elegant finery, military wear, formal wear or dandy wear.’

The event takes place in leafy Bedford Square, London WC1 on Saturday 12th July from 12 noon.
