Key Spring Trends For Men & Women
Thinking of giving your wardrobe a spring refresh? We have rounded up the key trends to invest in for SS/15.
Botanical Prints
A perennial favourite, the floral print has been revived for SS/15. This romantic pattern will forever be considered the embodiment of spring, but this year it has been updated with vibrant colours and graphic designs. Whether you opt for big and beautiful flowers, or small and abstract blossoms, the botanical print is eye-catching and boldly feminine.
Pretty Pastels
Spring 2015’s palette is fresh and delicate with soft blush pinks, mint greens and powder blues. Keep the new season’s shades ladylike and polished by pairing candy colours with neutral tones.
Bohemian Paisley
Paisley has had a long and varied history, and this season saw the revival of this intricate pattern. The design stems back to Iran, and arrived in Paisley, Scotland in the 1800s. Paisley spiked in popularity in the 1960s and has now been reinvented as a contemporary, stylish print. Make a statement in a smart paisley shirt or incorporate paisley accessories with other neutrals pieces.
Cool Blue
Strong and classic, blue dominated the men’s catwalks and confirmed itself as the hue of the season. Spring is the perfect time to inject colour into your wardrobe, and navy, cobalt and azure are refreshing alternatives to wintry black and grey.
