Magnum transformed Regent Street into a traffic-free street party on Sunday 31^st May, to celebrate the launch of its new raspberry and espresso ice creams. The exclusive event featured catwalk shows, dance performances, a DJ set and special shopping offers. Hawes & Curtis showcased four fabulous looks on the runway. Our in-house stylist, Melissa Uren, shares her experience of this memorable day.

With a bevy of beautiful men and women to dress and a crowd to please, I ensured Hawes & Curtis set the tone for the pink and black themed Magnum runway show on Regent Street on Sunday May 31st."

 

 

"Hawes & Curtis hit the catwalk with a collection of looks drawing inspiration from the ever stylish gentlemen of London with a crisp royal blue slim fit suit, paired with a soft pink shirt, beautiful silk paisley handkerchief and a delightfully playful tie with pink accents."

 

"For the more demure gentlemen, our second look of the show demonstrated how to make a light grey suit stand out among the crowd with a flirtatious striped soft pink shirt, pink cufflinks and a bold blue and pink tie to finish off the look."

 

"Not forgetting the Hawes & Curtis Weekend Man, we paired comfortable yet stylish Rose Slim fit chinos with a simple white Oxford shirt and delicate cotton scarf."

"Drawing inspiration from the ever-playful-ever-stylish Audrey Hepburn, our gorgeous model, Wei, glided down the runway channelling this style icon in our Floral Lulu Blouse, a floaty black circular skirt and an effortlessly beautiful sunhat. Hawes & Curtis was a definite crowd pleaser and what a lovely way to spend a Sunday!”
