Accepted Payment Methods
Hawes & Curtis accepts payment using American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, Switch and Solo cards, as well as through Google Checkout.
Hawes & Curtis does not store credit or debit card numbers in our database. To ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Hawes & Curtis uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled you will see a padlock on your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
Pages requiring you to enter private information are secure. This means that all information entered on our secure pages is encrypted prior to being sent to us. You will know that you are on a secure page when you see a closed padlock icon in the URL address bar.
Hawes & Curtis participates in the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode schemes operated by the UK banking industry. If applicable, you will be directed to a new page which loads directly from your bank before payment is processed.
To ensure a secure shopping experience and to protect our customers, our accounts team initiates random security checks to verify cardholder details in order to prevent online fraud.
Should this check be carried out on your payment card, a random amount between 1p – 99p will be credited to your account. You will be asked to confirm this amount via email before we proceed with the order.
Multiple Debit & Credit Card Use
You are welcome to use different debit or credit cards on every new order; however this could cause a delay as the security check may need to be carried out again.
Once a card has passed our security check, no further checks will be made on any subsequent orders.
All product prices on the Hawes & Curtis website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). We also have a German language page where payment is made in € (EUR), but this is only available to customers based in Germany and Austria, and a website available to our Australia based customers in Australian dollars(AUD).
At this time we do not accept other currencies, although we will be launching local market versions of our site for the US in the near future. If you wish to purchase from us internationally, your bank will charge you their current conversion rate at the time of your transaction.
Order Amendments and Cancellations
Unfortunately, once payment has been taken we cannot add any extra items to an order. However, if you contact our customer service team and arrange to place a new order, we can combine the two and refund one of the shipping costs provided that neither have already been shipped.
Should you wish to make any changes to your order (such as size or design) please contact our customer services team on 01702 447100 (or 0044 1702 447100 internationally) or firstname.lastname@example.org. Items can only be exchanged for others in the same range. Please inform us of any amendments as quickly as possible, as the majority of orders are processed within a few hours of being placed.
For order cancellations, please contact our customer services team as quickly as possible. Should your order be despatched before it can be cancelled, please see our returns section for details on how to return the products for a refund.
Please note that if, by mistake, we have incorrectly priced an item we will not be liable to ship it to you, provided you are notified before despatch.
Google checkout customers - Please be advised that we cannot amend the delivery address of any Google checkout order. Should you wish for your order to be despatched to an alternative address, a new order will need to be placed, and the original will be refunded by our customer service team.
If there are any problems with your order, please contact us as soon as possible (preferably within seven days).
