We were in celebratory mood this summer as our New St store reopened after a six-figure makeover.

One of our most iconic stores in the company portfolio, the store underwent a complete transformation after the building was gutted to make way for a stylish new look.

The refurbishment was planned to coincide with the redevelopment of New Street Station and the surrounding area, a high-profile project aimed at creating a thriving and iconic part of the city centre.

 

The Birmingham team kick-started the celebrations by officially unveiling the new look at a Summer Re-launch Party with a World Cup theme. During the evening invited guests were given a taste of the sleeker and smarter new shopping experience.

The city centre outlet is also now showcasing the Hawes & Curtis High Summer collection which boasts both classic wardrobe staples and fresh new must-haves in stunning citrus shades and contemporary prints.

“It is very exciting to see the new-look store officially launched and particularly considering it’s at the heart of an area of Birmingham which is being massively redeveloped to create a real destination location for shopping,” said area manager Sarah Meese.

“The store is now more stylish, much brighter and more welcoming to customers and the investment we have made in our Birmingham store and in our team in the city is certainly one which is extremely worthwhile and one which we are very proud of at Hawes & Curtis.”

Just minutes from New Street Station, busy commuters are already making the most of shopping online and using the click and collect from store service.

Also proving popular for those last minute wardrobe malfunctions is the iron-on-the spot service where staff will happily iron a customer’s newly-bought shirt ready to wear immediately.
