A gentleman is never fully dressed until he has added the finishing touches to his ensemble. Wearing a suit doesn’t have to be boring and you can add personality to your look with stylish accessories that will bring color, patterns and playfulness to the mix. 1. A Striking Pocket Square

A pocket square will add sartorial flair to your suit, no matter what the occasion. A vibrant pop of colour and a bold pattern is the easiest way to add personality to formalwear. Your pocket square should never match your tie – its purpose is to complement the rest of your outfit by coordinating with your other accessories. If your pocket square has a pattern, for example, select a colour from that palette to bring your look together and match it to a colour in your tie. 3. A Timeless Tie Clip

Once you’ve selected your tie and pocket square combination, add a smart tie clip for the finishing touch. Tie clips are both stylish and practical. They are designed to keep your tie neatly in its place. The best position for a tie clip is between the third and fourth button on your dress shirt. A tie clip needs to be aligned as horizontally as possible; otherwise it will make your outfit look untidy. If you opt for silver cufflinks, select a silver tie clip.

4. Statement Socks 

Brighten up any suit with a flash of color from your socks. Bold block colours are an easy way to dip your toe into considered accessorizing. If you want to experiment with patterns, choose fun motifs such as stripes, polka dots or geometric designs. 

5. Classic Cufflinks

Cufflinks will add the finishing touch to your tailoring and are designed to be worn with french cuff shirts. There are many styles to choose from but we would recommend that you avoid novelty cufflinks for very formal occasions or interviews. If you want to remain stylish and current, simply matching the color of your cufflinks to your suit, or to the metal of your watch or tie pin.
