ABOUT LANIFICIO REDA
The origins of the Reda mill trace back to 1865, when Carlo Reda established a wool mill in Valle Mosso, Italy. In 1919, the Botto Poala family, well-known in the textile industry, took ownership of the mill and built its reputation for crafting premium Merino wool textiles. Rooted in principles of sustainability, innovation, excellence, and Italian craftsmanship, Reda has flourished over the years. Today, under the leadership of CEO Ercole Botto Poala and his cousins, the company continues to honour its heritage while embracing modern innovation.
Reda focuses on sustainability and traceability; integrating eco-friendly practices, responsible sourcing and ethical practices throughout its supply chain. The company was the first Italian textile mill to earn B Corporation certification, for its commitment to high social and environmental standards alongside RWS and GRS certificates that make us trust Reda’s dedication to responsible wool production and recycled materials.

Sustainability and Traceability
Reda prioritises renewable energy, waste reduction, and innovative processes to eliminate harmful chemicals. The company ensures full traceability, from sheep farming in New Zealand to fabric production, maintaining rigorous quality and sustainability standards throughout the process.
We proudly source a range of our wool suits from the prestigious Reda mill, a name synonymous with quality and Italian craftsmanship.
